Happy New Week & #LampeterLorrySpotting 12/04/21


UPDATE- LIVESTREAMING #ETS2 8PM

Glad tidings all. *Insert usual pleasantries here*. I hope everyone’s Monday got off to a good start. Mines off to a spiffing start with sunshine & my snazzy new hoodie. I sound like my gran saying snazzy! I’ll be calling everyone Pet next (she was a northerner, County Durham not pretend north like Manchester or Leeds!)

So a super kind follower who wishes to remain nameless was incredibly generous and sent me a steering and pedals for my Euro Truck Simulator livestreams, so plan is to do one this evening, so keep an eye on my social media, will be around 8 or so. One I’m into it properly I’m going to recreate some real trips I’ve done, as someone this morning mentioned the off over the Miliau Viaduct would be a great one so it’s at top of list. I’ll post the video I’m recreating a few hours before hand so you can watch again as for many you won’t have seen it in years! I’ll be having to watch my video too as I’ve uploaded I’ve NEVER watched a single one back! Something involving me watching my old videos back is in pipeline too.

#ThrowbackThursday; Where It All Began….

 #ThrowbackThursday - So if you’ve followed me for long you will already know I’ve had a rather ridiculous career working for every man and his dog, driving everything from vans to rigids to artics to drawbars to buses and coaches. I’m really proud of my bonkers career, it’s been absolutely amazing! But, my driving career didn’t start on the road, it started on a landfill, in a Moxy! For pretty my whole childhood Dad was a mechanic who drove on the side. I used to spend lots of time with him, going away in lorries or spending the weekend with him in the workshop. One job he had was for a local plant hire company and this was one of the best as back in those days when no one really cared much about H&S, I got to drive and play with machines in the yard. It got to point where I could lift engines and axles etc with pinpoint precision with the mini digger, helping Pops. Can’t dig a hole to save my life tho! One day one of the bosses saw me gently lifting the engine back into a Mox...
