Thanking you

Good morrow people's. My daft little site seems to get busier and busier as the months roll by and it's fantastic to see. Not to mention unexpected. So I'd just like to say thank you to all of you that visit and watch my various videos or read my inane ramblings. It's looking like I'll hit 10,000 hits for August, the highest month so far. That's nuts!

Also I'm going to ask if I can do a Denmark & Sweden run soon so I can make another video diary.

In the mean time here's a pic of two new and rather fine looking Magnums. I'd never even sat in one before and when it came to getting out I nearly fell out. They are strange trucks layout wise even after all these years. They've a very busy life ahead with two Irish chaps that do a lot of Italy.

The Flexibility of In-House Training, Without The Cost

I offer you all the advantages of having an in house trainer without the cost or commitment. I will quote for your business based on how many drivers will need training over the course of a year, then you or your drivers can simply contact me when they wish to attend one of my online timetabled courses, taking away all the stress of trying to arrange up to 20 drivers to sit a course on the same day, much more flexible for your business and I take all the stress out of it. Let’s face it running a transport company is stress enough! I run daytime, evening and weekend courses, times to suit everyone. I also find this method is much more popular with the drivers. I am however also happy to quote for your online or in person courses, up to 20 at a time at times and dates to suit you at any location. Everyone who attends my courses and your office staff will be given my contact details and told I’m available at any time to help and advise as required. I’m always here to help customers, basic...

#MyTopThree: Countries. 1. IRELAND

So if you have thought about what #MyTopThree Countries much I dare say you’ll find number one inevitable. So yes, Ireland! I feel I should remind you this is a top 3 based on overall experience, not just driving. Though it has a terrible reputation for bad roads the road network is unrecognisable compared to just 20/25 years ago and bad roads are becoming ever fewer and further between. My first taste of Ireland was when Dad started working for Nolans in the late 90’s who were at the time one of ‘South Wales’ biggest employers of drivers. Back then the roads were horrendous and you had to make sure everything was strapped down, in the cab as well as the trailer! Nolan’s gets a lot of bad said about it but like most things a lot is not really true. Yes they were plain speakers, yes you ran day and night but no one ever went there for an easy time. Fact is they were/are well run and like most of Ireland’s transport sector a family firm where you’re more like to see the boss in overalls ...
