#LampeterLorrySpotting 7/04/21

Hope everyone’s Easter was a good one whatever you choose to do. Transport being a true 24/7/365 industry I know many will have worked. As you have seen we are part way through the Renault Truck launch. More to come. I think the concept of launching first in Euro Truck Simulator was a genius one. The fact is the route many had into the industry, including me, of going with your lorry driving parent is closed off to most in this heightened health and safety conscious world we are now in so ETS could actually be the answer.

I’ve seen many dismissive comments about Renaults tactic but it and Euro Truck Simulator could be the answer we need to question ‘how do we get young people involved?’ Fact if this industry is literally dying, the average age of a Truck driver in the U.K. is fifty something and that is obviously unsustainable. So any way that gets young people switched on to the idea of being a lorry driver is just fine with me.

Here for now are some pictures from last few days, showing the insane differences of weather, from snow to gales to spring sun. There is more Renault stuff to come, including me playing Euro Truck Simulator....... for the first time...... ever! I’m just waiting on the arrival of a laptop to play it on as I’ve not owned a desktop or laptop PC in over a decade! It will all be streamed one way or another. I’ve set up a Twitch account! Bare with me as it’s all very new to me!

#ONWARD>>> No. 1 Playlist So, hello chums. As promised here we have my first lorry-driver.com playlist. A selection of fairly new tracks hopefully some that you won't have heard of before.
