If anyone can pull this off it’s Irish Ferries. They REALLY know their business and thinking about it don’t really make mistakes. My prediction- they’ll succeed. I think the most likely scenario is just DFDS & Irish Ferries on this route eventually, few years maybe, P&O is on its arse and being squeezed by two of the best ferry companies in the world* will probably finish them off, despite their new pooling arrangement with DFDS.
So good luck Irish Ferries. Fly the Irish flag high! (And the Welsh* flag, Pembroke Dock was her 2nd home of course)
Service starts on 29th June
Pics from Dover Ferry Photos on Facebook, hope they don’t mind!
*Not to mention Cyprus 😂

After most of her life on Pembroke Dock to Rosslare she finds herself here |
*Yes I know Irish Ferries registered their vessels in Cyprus to take advantage of lower staff costs which was controversial at time but look at this way- would they be here now if not? An independent Irish ferry company? We don’t have a single U.K. owned ferry company in comparison.
