Really looking forward to trying one of these. Mr Tomlinson of Volvo has promised me a go in one when I’m back driving. And yes many, probably most of you are doubters but my answer to any criticism is this is a start, not an end. It won’t work for all applications as Volvo clearly say but over time there will be more and more as it develops. I simply love technology, I love new things, and I’ve no idea why some drivers get so wound up by what powers the truck they drive. Is electric the answer to it all? Who knows, that’s what we’re all here to find out. Probably won’t be a one size fits all future in the way diesel was in my opinion. Are other opinions like hydrogen a better option? Who knows, that’s what we are here to find out. Life is much more enjoyable with an open mind! Embrace the new, don’t fear it.
