#TruckingDiaries; Next Video Tomorrow


New video up at 1800 in the morrow (6pm Wednesday). 

Unless you’ve sent a Buy Me A Coffee donation in which case you have a link to an early preview in your email already. An attempt at saying thank you in some small way. Will do this more often including for the next video. Don’t worry it’s all still free it’s just a 48 hour early viewing. Looking to set up memberships soon. How much would you consider as a monthly membership fee? Be honest, and I know many won’t want to be members and that’s fine everyone is free to do what they wish! Also just to remind you nothing that’s free currently will become charged. 

The membership will be in addition to what I do currently. So members only videos and pictures, hoping to get some merchandise sorted so will at least come with a couple of stickers/key rings/pens etc and a personalised Bertie video, or from me but I imagine Berties will be more in demand. Things like happy birthday, anniversary, new job etc.

#News: New DAF Released

Hello one and all. So after much talk the new DAF tulip wagon has been released. It’s rather good looking. The dash has had an entire revamp too making it so much more useable. Digital dash as is becoming the norm now. Bed much more useable. DAF already had the best bed in the business the past 20+ years so it’ll be interesting to see how this one compares. Also I think the extra window in the passenger door is a fantastic idea, though I can hear the drivers moaning about it already! The other day I was thinking about the Leyland Roadrunner. Remember they had an extra window in front? I was wondering why that never caught on. Personally I want as much visibility as possible. Also I imagine many will say how similar it is to other trucks. Fact is a truck now has very specific features that dictate what they look like so there’s fairly a small amount of flexibility designers have. #ThrowbackThursday; Virginas 30th.

  #ThrowbackThursday to 2012 and Virginias 30th birthday party in 2012. Being handed they keys to an FH16 750 bought to celebrate the 30th of the company I loved working for and the day after this pic shipping out on my first run in her on direct boat to France with four drops in Portugal probably won’t be topped in my career to be honest! Will keep trying though. They’re 40 soon! Happy Thursday all. Oh and quickly before anyone asks ‘do you miss it?’- no, one of my favourite features of the ADHD I almost certainly have is living relentlessly in the present, past has gone, the future doesn’t exist in my mind. I’ve never missed anything. It’s a good thing as I’ve seen too many in this industry particularly made miserable by what they consider was a better past. SORRY AND AN EXPLANATION

Howdy doodle chaps and chapesses. As some of you have noticed I have been very quiet of late and still have outstanding videos. The truth of the matter is I needed a break from things, and it was nearly a permenant one! I was burning myself out and then some angry comments from people on various sites got to me a bit and I seriously considered giving it all up. I know I get and am grateful for the loads of brilliant positive messages, but sometimes a handful of bad ones from people that seemingly hate me outweigh no end of positive ones. It's hard to explain. Anyhow, a friend came up with the idea of having a page on my site for the horrible comments! Instead of interacting with these hateful loons just show them that they won't win.  So I may do that. So I did reach a decision. I do love my website and doing this so I shall continue, and try to ignore the hateful comments. I'm just me doing a job and sharing it with you. I don't profess to be great, or tell you you sho...
