Happy F**king Christmas!


Thanks for all the amazing and unending support everyone has given me over this year and last. Means the world to me, also to my parents who see it all and hopefully get to think maybe they didn’t bring up a total moron with a deathwish, that I have some redeeming features 😂 I live in hope! Not from Bertie tho, he thinks you’re all t*ats. Hopefully a Christmas message from him tomorrow, if I can prize the Aldi gin away. From donations, to merchandise sales, to messages, comments, emails and likes they all mean the world. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone whatever you’re doing 

(I’ve actually worked more than I’ve been off in past and my own Dad is working tomorrow. So spare a thought for all the people behind scenes who make Christmas happen and make it possible for you to buy a pint of milk, a duvet or some pain relief boxing day. Transport never sleeps  ).

Today

Well I feel a bit better today having had a good sleep. I slept in a Gigantibus, or more commonly known as a Magnum, and when I opened the blinds I was greeted with an inch of snow and it's still snowing. So I've got to drive a truck I've never driven before, in snow, on untreated roads, oh and did I mention the truck is only a few months old! Today will be very much slow and steady with a good dose of nail biting!

FREELANCE LUKE!

Hello everyone. So as many of you will know I was unfairly given the boot from my transport manager job at Virginia. The truth is I was thinking of leaving anyhow as the stress was insane. I got back on the the road on Saturday and it felt like coming home, hitting the M5 in a Volvo FH 500, radio on, stress free work, it was bliss and made me realise it all turned out for the best. Anyway, back to now. Im now a freelance driver. I want to work on my terms when I want to work. I've been a driver for 18 years and have a full clean C+E and D+E licences so I can drive coaches and trucks. I'd love a bit of coach work in the summer to keep my hand in. All up date with CPC and have a packages ADR licence. Im interested in a variety of work. Mostly local but I do want to do trips to Europe on occasion. I spent 3 years piloting a FH16 750 so I can be trusted with any truck! I have experience with many types of work. Fridges (hanging and boxed), flats, curtainsiders, euroliners, tankers,...
