Exciting News!

So, I’ve some news. I’ve booked myself on an RTITB Instructor Academy Train the Trainer course at beginning of February. Basically to learn how to construct and hold training courses, in my case initially to be able to hold Driver CPC courses. So by mid Feb I should be able to start holding them! Exciting!

It’s rather expensive, though not when you consider the income that can result from it. If I can’t get the Job Centre to pay for it I’ve some ideas of how I can raise funds, watch this space! So an exciting start to the year! #Exciting!

Without wishing to sound big headed I think I could be a really good trainer. I’ve a huge amount of passion for subject, am very knowledgable about it & absolutely love teaching people things, up to now via videos. My provisional plan is to hold them in different locations all over country and offer some options you don’t get anywhere else, so potentially overnight courses for night drivers, or early starts so we can finish early and your whole day isn’t taken up by sitting in a classroom. Night Photography

Hello friends. Just been having a play with my new tripod as you can see from the picture at the top. Here are a couple more of the lorry that I took at the same time. I've always loved night photography and hope to do more of it in future. Keep looking for good spots to shoot the lorry as I drive about! As you can see Bertie is quite prominent in them!

#News; Greece & Turkey

Hello all. Hope your weekend is going to plan. So many peoples in Greece and Turkey heartbreakingly aren’t. Can’t imagine the horror. So just to say sending my thoughts. Ultimately meaningless of course but hey ho. I love Greece, did several runs there with Virginia (before videos alas). Out from Ancona on Superfast back via Agoudimos Lines to Bari or Brindisi on a ferry that felt like a Soviet satellite state boat. But I’m waffling, sending love. Good to see we and their other friends have been sending help. Imagine being on a ship, so at least safe, and watching your entire world go up in smoke. Older people will likely never see their home island as it was ever again. Makes me glad of our dull wet weather. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-58132679
